  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs

  • 0.75 cup peanut butter

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 0.25 cup heavy cream

Directions

  • Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl or saucepan, ensuring it’s completely melted before proceeding with the next steps.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and peanut butter. Stir well until the mixture is homogeneous and crumbly.
  • Add the powdered sugar to the peanut butter mixture, stirring thoroughly to combine until no dry powder remains visible.
  • Press the mixture evenly into a lined 9×9 inch baking dish, firmly packing the base layer before setting it aside.
  • Using a microwave or double boiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and heavy cream together, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer in the dish, spreading evenly with a spatula for a smooth finish.
  • Refrigerate the dish for at least 2 hours until the bars are firm enough to cut into squares and serve.
